Architectural Panels
Two
distinct types of panels are available to the designer. The first is a
veneer panel that is flanged for more versatility in attachment by
utilizing concealed fixings to framing members or by using angle
clips for attachment to a structural wall.
Laminated panels, the second type, have the same design benefits as the veneer
panel with the added advantage of laminating a variety of core materials to meet
specific design criteria (i.e., flatness and stiffness, sound absorption, insulation). The backing sheet for
these panels may vary depending on end use factors.
